About The Position

A fast-growing, PE-backed technology-enabled legal services platform needs a Manager of M&A. This company is operating across the full dispute lifecycle including e-filing, service of process, dispute management, and appellate services. Having built a strong national footprint, they are now accelerating growth through acquisition. They are looking for a sharp, execution-focused M&A Manager to sit at the center of that strategy. You'll own the deal process end-to-end, from pipeline development to close, and play a meaningful role in post-close integration. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and the PE sponsor.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Hands-on experience with the full deal process — diligence, modeling, negotiation, integration.
  • Strong financial modeling skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Excellent communicator who can work across functions and with senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker who translates insights into action.
  • High integrity; comfortable managing sensitive, confidential information.
  • Bachelor's in finance, business, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • MBA a plus.
  • Background in professional services or experience with high-volume M&A is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive deal execution from sourcing through close - diligence, valuation, modeling, negotiation.
  • Build and maintain a robust M&A pipeline; track market trends and identify strategic targets.
  • Own financial models and valuation analyses that inform go/no-go decisions.
  • Lead post-close integration workstreams and coordinate cross-functionally to deliver results.
  • Partner with senior leadership and the PE sponsor to shape and execute M&A strategy.
  • Handle confidential deal information with discretion and professionalism.
