About The Position

M&A Business Execution Associate is a key role within the Banking team, responsible for the efficient and reliable execution of various support tasks. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the M&A Business Execution Associate contributes to data analytics, strategy enablement, operations, reporting, risk and control efforts. The Associate is responsible for assisting Investment Banking teams globally by providing foundational support for a wide range of transactions, including capital raises, mergers and acquisitions. The overall objective is to leverage experience and expertise to enhance the effectiveness of the team by providing streamlined and reliable support to key banking processes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience providing quantitative and qualitative analytical services including management reporting, business analysis and strategic planning.
  • Experience in utilizing AI, Tableau, Power BI, and MS Excel to create dynamic dashboards, perform in-depth data analysis, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable, data driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining visual analytics tools to track performance metrics, project outcomes, and present findings.
  • Experience in developing and executing change management plans including communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Experience in implementing efficiency initiatives by analyzing progress against KPIs and operational efficiency metrics and presenting periodic reports to executive leadership.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analytics on business strategy, competitor and industry analysis, business performance, market trends, and other strategic priorities.
  • Perform operational, financial, reporting, and process‑improvement activities in support of the business.
  • Support townhalls, business reviews, group meetings, strategy sessions, offsites.
  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery, and fixed‑price contract structures to support financial control and improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to activities involving business financials, administrative needs, and ad hoc projects.
  • Support vendor‑related processes by reviewing legal requirements and participating in contract‑related actions.
  • Support reporting processes and promote accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
  • Assist with resource‑related processes including maintaining accurate headcount information, and completing onboarding and termination steps.
  • Work with Technology partners on businesspeople strategy and communications initiatives.
  • Apply sound risk assessment, follow policies, and promote transparency in identifying, escalating, and documenting control‑related matters.
  • Support audit activities, business‑continuity tasks, and regulatory‑related work for the business area.
