About The Position
Brightstar Care of Huntington Beach is looking for an experienced LVN to provide ongoing care for a patient in Long Beach. This role offers competitive pay, work-life balance, flexible scheduling, career development opportunities, weekly pay, and an unlimited referral bonus.
Requirements
- Valid unrestricted LVN license in California
- Minimum of 2 years paid LVN experience (REQUIRED)
- Valid BLS / CPR Certification & negative TB skin test / Chest x-ray
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs).
- Provide a well-rounded mix of activities that include physical, mental, & social engagement.
- Administer medications, treatments, and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, ensuring proper care protocols are followed.
- Offer patient and family education on care plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain patient records with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Ensure patients activities of daily living are properly met.
- Develop and promote a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure patient’s rights are adhered to with high levels of professionalism, boundaries, and confidentiality with staff/patients.
