About The Position

Responsible for nursing care that meets Residents’ spiritual, emotional, and functional needs. Ensures quality care by delegating responsibilities to direct nursing staff according to Resident acuity and each staff member’s skills, training, and experience. Assists with training nursing staff when requested and appropriate. Coordinates Resident care management on the assigned shift and is accountable for the clinical management of Residents.

Requirements

• Hold a current California license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Demonstrate supervisory, management, leadership, and employee relations skills.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Have at least one year of long-term care experience, including direct care of elderly or chronically ill individuals.

Responsibilities
