About The Position
Varco Home Health is hiring an LVN to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care in patients’ homes in Royse City, Texas, and surrounding areas. The PRN position offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and independent work in the field, with consistent patient volume available. The LVN will deliver care according to the plan of care, support patients’ independence and quality of life, and coordinate with the care team.
Requirements
- Active Texas LVN license (required).
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to patient needs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred.
- Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled in-home nursing visits based on the plan of care.
- Perform vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and catheter care.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager.
- Educate patients and caregivers about medications, safety, and disease management.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the care team.
