Requirements
- Valid LVN/RN License in the state of TX
- 1 year in the behavioral health field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs regularly during patients’ stays at the residential facility.
- Perform nursing assessments and provide care interventions based on psychiatric and medication needs.
- Conduct triage assessments to determine the appropriateness of new patient admissions.
- Administer medications following established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Accurately document nursing goals, interventions, and outcomes in patient charts while actively contributing to the treatment care plan.
- Maintain patient and employee safety by following infection control protocols and medication management procedures, including handling controlled substances.
