LVN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join our team in Athens, TX and surrounding areas. Since 2000, Angels of Care has been committed to providing exceptional home health care to medically fragile children and young adults. As an Angels of Care nurse, you will provide direct, one-on-one medical care in the patient's home, making a significant difference in the lives of children and their families. We offer flexible scheduling options, including full-time and part-time shifts with available day, night, and weekend hours.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care.
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient.
