About The Position

BrightStar Care in Edinburg, Texas is hiring compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide skilled Private Duty Nursing (PDN) care to patient in the home setting. This is a PRN case with specific days and times. The role involves one-to-one patient care in a home or school environment, executing physicians' prescribed plans of care, administering medications and therapies, and providing health promotion teaching to family members.

Requirements

• Must have a good standing license (LVN) in the state of Texas.
• Current accredited CPR certification
• Current TB test

Responsibilities

• One-to-one patient care in a home/school environment
• Execution of physicians' prescribed plan of care (POC) and compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record.
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies
• Health promotion teaching, and training of family members
