About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) interviews patients and prepares them for the provider by measuring vital signs and recording information in the electronic health record (EHR). The LVN administers injections, prepares examination rooms, and cleans and sterilizes instruments. The role also assists the physician with procedures and coordinates patient discharge planning and follow-up care. The position is responsible to the Executive Director of Clinical Operations. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Current licensure with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Obtain and maintain American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, management, visitors, and outside sources.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current insurance coverage.
• Successful completion of a background check, lab work, and immunization-record review is required for employment.
• Annual respirator fit testing is required.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of previous physician's office or urgent care experience.
