About The Position
Liberty Healthcare operates a specialized mental health program within multiple jail facilities located in San Diego County. The goal of the program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)
- Supported people who are experiencing mental illness
Responsibilities
- Providing direct care to jail inmates
- Administering IV and oral medications
- Providing health education
- Observing and documenting health status
- Collaborating with security staff
- Ensuring program clients receive high-quality health services
