About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. This role requires driving throughout Orange County to provide psychiatric care to our members.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure
  • Current CPR/BLS certificate
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician.
  • Provide safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.
  • Drive throughout Orange County to provide psychiatric care to our members.
  • Conduct resident wellness checks.
  • Facilitate wellness groups and skill-building activities.
  • Provide housing stabilization focused case management services.
  • Offer behavioral health and substance use services.
  • Perform crisis interventions.
  • Engage in conflict resolution and property manager mediation.
  • Implement other interventions that focus on successful tenancy, eviction avoidance, and community integration.
