About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking an LVN-LPN Urgent Care for a client in Playa Vista, California. This is a 13-week contract assignment on a day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts. The role provides nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an urgent care setting, including support for acute illnesses, injuries, and multiple diagnoses. The position requires the ability to float as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of urgent care or ER experience and 2 years of overall outpatient experience.
• Active California LVN license, in hand at submission.
• Valid California IV certification.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC only.
• IV therapy and blood withdrawal/phlebotomy experience.
• Epic charting experience.
• Flu vaccination; exemptions and declinations are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and oxygen as ordered.
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and blood glucose testing.
• Assist with wound care, cast care, EKGs, and catheter insertion.
• Perform telephone triage and medication reconciliation.
• Follow infection control, isolation, and PPE protocols.
• Support urgent care treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, and multiple diagnoses.
• Float as needed.
