About The Position

Supports the delivery of services by performing clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or designated medical provider. Assists with health screenings, immunizations, documentation, education and follow-up activities to promote a safe and healthy work environment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

High School Education/GED or equivalent
Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
Current Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice
AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR

Responsibilities

Conducts routine health screenings in accordance with established protocols.
Administers immunizations and medications per standing orders and scope of practice, documenting accurately in the employee health record.
Assists with new hire evaluations and annual health assessments, including reviewing medical history forms and gathering required documentation.
Supports contact tracing, follow-up, and documentation for exposures to communicable diseases.
Provides first aid and initial response for minor work-related injuries or illnesses and refers to higher-level care as needed.
Assists with tracking and maintaining compliance with employee immunization and surveillance requirements, including data entry and reporting.
Communicates clearly and respectfully with employees regarding test results, follow-up instructions, and wellness initiatives.
Maintains accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
Stocks and maintains medical supplies and equipment used in the employee health office.
Participates in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention activities as directed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
