About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurses for a full-time night shift position. IV Certification is required. The role offers career growth opportunities through a Clinical Career Ladder, with eligibility for pay increases upon successful completion of Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels. Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). It provides long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, often requiring critical care for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a specialized hospital, it offers a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
IV Certification.
Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of clinical experience in a health care setting.
Three (3) years medical/surgical experience.
One (1) year of area specific experience.

Responsibilities

Responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
Ensure that the unit to which assigned shall function in a smooth, organized, and efficient manner as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Provide direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care.
Demonstrate clinical competence.
Manage patient care.
Improve quality of care.
Establish professional relationships and utilize professional skills.
Fulfill responsibilities of the role of the hospital.
Develop clinical expertise per specialty.
