About The Position

To render professional nursing care within the current scope to patients in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Organizes and coordinates patient care planning with other hospital disciplines. Reports to the coordinator and interfaces with front office and back office staff to assure patient flow in the back office of the clinic.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Current CA Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Six (6) months of supervisory experience
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification or within sixty (60) days of hire

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of CPT, ICD9, JCAHO, State funded programs, HMO and Medi-Cal.
Bilingual in Spanish
