About The Position

As a Luxury Technology Salesperson at Sound & Image Design, you will capitalize on opportunities generated by the business development team, transforming them into sales. Your role involves developing client relationships, nurturing the existing client database, and closing deals to deliver innovative solutions and detailed proposals tailored to client needs. A combination of technical knowledge and sales expertise is crucial for project success and client satisfaction. This position covers the Richmond, VA area and surrounding regions, requiring you to network, meet with referral partners, and engage with prospective clients within the area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical sales role.
  • Technical understanding of home automation, AV, networking, lighting, and shading.
  • Excellent sales skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor by building client relationships.
  • Understand client needs, desires, and project requirements during sales consultations.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for client presentations.
  • Achieve individual revenue targets and contribute to the company's sales goals.
  • Ensure a seamless handoff of technical designs to field staff.
  • Make daily calls to nurture and grow relationships within the existing client base.
