About The Position

The Loupe is a specialty jewelry boutique located within MartinPatrick3 in Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood. We showcase a curated collection of fine jewelry designers known for innovation, craftsmanship, and style. Our clients value luxury, personalized service, and exclusive experiences. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Weekend Luxury Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about luxury retail, hospitality, jewelry, and client relationships.

Requirements

  • Previous luxury, retail, jewelry, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of fashion, luxury products, and client service
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Comfortable and excited to learn about jewelry, gemstones, and styling
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a retail sales environment

Nice To Haves

  • Luxury retail or fine jewelry sales experience
  • GIA coursework or gemology education is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an elevated and welcoming client experience acting as a brand ambassador for The Loupe
  • Build relationships and sell directly to clients through in-store interactions, text, email, and other means with focus on client retention
  • Source new sales opportunities through networking and outreach to develop personal client book
  • Drive sales through product knowledge, styling guidance, and personalized service
  • Support team selling and collaborate closely with the MartinPatrick3 team
  • Assist with merchandising, displays, and maintaining luxury presentation standards
  • Handle daily jewelry setup and secure product storage procedures
  • Assist with inventory management, repairs, shipping/receiving, and quality control
  • Participate in store events, activations, and client outreach initiatives
  • Always consider the security of the store and your team members. Ensure the floor is adequately covered. Exercise good judgement when showing merchandise and dealing with clients
  • Maintain a clean, polished, and professional sales environment
