About The Position

The Lunchroom Monitor supervises students during lunch periods, enforcing responsible behavior within the lunchroom. This role involves close collaboration with the school district's staff and administration to ensure all activities align with District guidelines and to implement the District's vision and mission.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to supervise lunch periods to ensure appropriate and responsible behavior
Ability to ensure all activities conform to District guidelines
Ability to communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with members of the school district and community
Ability to react to change and frequent interruptions in a productive and positive manner, meeting deadlines as assigned
Ability to work to implement the vision and mission of the District
Requires stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching and turning
Must work in noisy and crowded environments, with numerous interruptions

Responsibilities

Supervise students during lunch periods to ensure appropriate and responsible behavior.
Ensure all activities conform to District guidelines.
Communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with members of the school district and community.
React to change and frequent interruptions in a productive and positive manner, meeting deadlines as assigned.
Implement the vision and mission of the District.
Encourage responsible behavior among students.
Observe and follow all school district policies at all times.
Respond to information requests in a cooperative, courteous, and timely manner.
Implement and follow all District health and safety policies, including all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan.
Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.
