About The Position
As our Lunch Porter, you will play a vital role in keeping our school environment clean, safe, and welcoming during midday meals! You will work independently and alongside facility staff to ensure lunchtime runs smoothly.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation, strong work ethic, school-friendly attitude, and ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stay comfortably active on your feet.
- Reliable transportation to our location on King Street.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cleaning, janitorial, or porter experience preferred.
- A friendly, energetic personality that enjoys working in a school environment.
Responsibilities
- Keep the cafeteria and dining areas spotless during and after school meal services as a dedicated Lunch Porter.
- Sanitize tables, wipe down surfaces, and manage trash removal efficiently as our reliable Day Porter.
- Assist the school custodian team with light floor care and spill cleanup as an essential Cafeteria Cleaner.
