About The Position
The Lunch and After School Team is a vital part of our school community, carrying out many of the duties necessary for the day-to-day operations of the campus. This position will supervise Kindergarten – 4th grade students in indoor and outdoor play, crafts, and snacks. Crucially, this role will be responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment for our energetic and motivated students.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to connect with a variety of colleagues and students
- Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language.
- Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend.
- Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with children preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise Kindergarten – 4th grade students in indoor and outdoor play, crafts, and snacks.
- Maintain a safe learning environment for students.
- Plan and organize after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
- Assist students with homework.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members.
- Be responsible for the safe supervision and care of students.
