About The Position

HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii at our Distribution Center is seeking to hire a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to be responsible for carefully building, staging and loading building material orders. Receives and distributes incoming products. Cuts engineered wood product to customer specifications. Completes all necessary work while maintaining excellent housekeeping standards. The typical schedule for this Lumberyard Specialist position is: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Some overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Requirements

• Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Work well with others

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is preferred
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Carefully building building material orders
• Staging building material orders
• Loading building material orders
• Receives and distributes incoming products
• Cuts engineered wood product to customer specifications
