About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Lumber Yard Load Builder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling, staging, and loading building materials onto trucks for delivery, ensuring order accuracy. You will also unload vendor trucks, verify materials against documentation, and maintain yard cleanliness. Assisting customer service staff when needed is also part of the role.

Requirements

• Must have forklift experience.
• Physical ability to lift 70 pounds.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Long-term, loyal applicants.
• Strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable motor vehicle record (no more than 2 infractions within the past two years).

Nice To Haves

• Industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and load building materials onto trucks for delivery.
• Verify orders are correct for delivery.
• Unload vendor trucks and verify material against BOL/purchase order.
• Maintain yard cleanliness.
• Assist customer service staff, when necessary.
