About The Position

Lubricate and maintain equipment while complying with GMP and Food Safety requirements. Inspect equipment and identify preventative maintenance needs. Communicate with co-workers and operations about problems, complete work orders as necessary. Keep daily maintenance log by documenting service of equipment. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. Requirements

  • Six months to one-year position-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, reach, feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to climb or balance.
  • Must be able to talk and hear.
  • Must be able to taste or smell.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Must be able to occasionally climb and balance.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision for testing, distance vision, color vision for testing and seeing color, peripheral vision to observe two processes, depth perception for working with equipment and the ability to adjust focus for seeing defective material.
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat, with moving mechanical parts, in wet and/or humid conditions, with risk of electrical shock, in high precarious positions, with fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals, in all weather conditions, with vibrations, and loud noise.

  • Supply parts needed, parts requests, assist Parts Clerk.
  • Practice GMP and food safety requirements.
  • Monitor equipment.
  • Keep daily maintenance log by documenting service of equipment.
