About The Position

The main objective of the Lube Technician is to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on heavy mobile equipment. This work is vital for maintaining the safety and reliability of valuable assets used in the mining process.

Requirements

• Prior relevant experience with the routine care of heavy mobile equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed routines for accomplishing maintenance work.
• Ability to communicate effectively through writing and electronic means

• High School degree
• 1 + year related experience
• Valid US driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of equipment and document current or potential problems
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication
• Maintain work and oil and parts storage areas in a clean, safe condition
• Maintain inventories of parts and supplies used for preventative maintenance
• Properly dispose of used fluids and other wastes
• Perform minor repairs or other work as needed
• Participate in the planning of future work
