About The Position
Burlington Kia, a trusted name in the tri-state area for automotive sales and service, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our growing service department. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and basic inspections. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles run smoothly and safely.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic automotive knowledge and experience preferred, but not required (we provide training)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive service industry
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks on various vehicle makes and models
- Inspect and replace vehicle filters (air, cabin, fuel, etc.)
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and light repairs as required
- Ensure proper documentation of services and repairs performed
- Conduct multi-point inspections and provide reports to service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work with a team to ensure timely and efficient service for all customers
- Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures
