About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking Lube Technicians to join their Quick Lane team in Kenai. This is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community. This is an entry-level technician position, and no experience is required. The company is family-owned and operated with dealerships across the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, and has been in business since 1937. Requirements

A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
Work is performed indoors in a shop environment.
Tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force.
Standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties.
Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on.
Lifting as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally required.

Responsibilities

Performing basic maintenance on service vehicles.
Inspecting, replenishing, draining, and filling fluids and lubricants.
Balancing and rotating tires.
Performing vehicle inspections.
Completing basic brake repairs.
Documenting all work per manufacturer and Kendall standards.
Operating a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
