This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, and other fluids and check levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges. Requirements

• Ford Certification is a plus
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• Minimum of 1 year in service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes on guest vehicles with speed, efficiency and accuracy
• Inspect and replace oil, cabin, air filter and vehicle fluids and check tire pressure
• Tire mounting and balancing
• Perform Detailed Multi-Point Inspection
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician
• Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean
• Machining rotors
