Lube Technician - PT 1075
About The Position
The Lube Technician is an entry-level position responsible for learning and safely performing a variety of services on customers’ vehicles while contributing to the team’s success. Technicians are trained in the company’s methods for job acceleration and career growth, while maintaining excellent customer service and technical and mechanical skills. The employer is seeking entry-level to skilled technicians who are eager to learn and grow. The role also includes general center maintenance and cleaning, completing required training, attending team meetings as needed, and performing other duties as assigned. Uniform shirts, a jacket, and a belt are provided.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to safely and properly use mechanical tools without damaging vehicles.
- Demonstrate self-accountability, teamwork, willingness, and ability to learn.
Responsibilities
- Perform general vehicle maintenance, including replacing air and cabin filters, light bulbs, and windshield wipers.
- Check and adjust under-hood fluid levels as necessary.
- Test, service, and replace vehicle batteries.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Perform visual safety checks and look for fluid leaks.
- Follow industry safety guidelines and perform essential duties without damaging vehicles.
- Maintain timely attendance and accurate time records.
- Perform basic shop maintenance and daily cleaning.
- Use a computer and register for basic tasks.
- Follow established grooming standards and uniform guidelines.
- Support a respectful and healthy workplace environment.
- Perform general center maintenance and cleaning, including mopping, window washing, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice removal, and cleaning restrooms and other customer and employee areas as applicable to the location.
- Complete all required training for the position.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
