About The Position

Toyota of Fayetteville, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for a Lube Technician to join their team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. The Lube Technician will diagnose and perform quality light mechanical services on customer and inventory vehicles with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer/factory standards.

  • Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals in written and online formats.
  • Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience.
  • Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent and one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Brand knowledge is preferred, but not required.
  • ASE Certification is preferred.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and perform quality light mechanical services on customer and inventory vehicles with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially in vehicle repairs.
  • Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to help repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate technical information regarding customer vehicles to Service Advisors.
  • Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work.
  • Ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate.
  • Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment.
