About The Position
As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, performance, and longevity of our customers' vehicles while providing excellent service. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for automotive maintenance and a desire to start or advance their career in the automotive industry. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and filter replacements on customer vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership procedures.
- Rotate tires and inspect tire tread depth, wear patterns, and inflation levels to ensure safe and proper vehicle operation.
- Check and top off fluid levels, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid, as needed.
- Conduct visual inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues or safety concerns, such as fluid leaks or worn brake pads.
- Complete basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades, according to service schedules.
- Follow proper procedures for disposing of used oil, filters, and other hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including service bays, tools, and equipment, to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist other technicians and service department staff as needed to ensure timely completion of work and customer satisfaction.
- Document all maintenance services performed accurately and legibly on service orders and electronic records.
- Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to stay informed about new automotive technology and maintenance techniques.
