About The Position

The Lube Technician is an entry-level position responsible for learning and safely performing a variety of services on customers’ vehicles while contributing to the team’s success. The company trains technicians in its job-acceleration method to support skill development and career growth while maintaining excellent customer service and technical and mechanical skills. The role is open to entry-level and skilled technicians who are eager to learn and grow. The position also includes general center maintenance and cleaning, completion of required training, attendance at team meetings as required, and other duties as assigned. Uniform shirts, a jacket, and a belt are provided.

Requirements

Driver’s license.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to safely and properly use mechanical tools without damaging vehicles.
Demonstrate self-accountability, teamwork, willingness, and ability to learn.
Basic understanding of how to use a computer and register.

Responsibilities

Perform general vehicle maintenance, including replacing air and cabin filters, light bulbs, and windshield wipers.
Check and adjust under-hood fluid levels as needed.
Test, service, and replace vehicle batteries.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Perform visual safety checks and look for fluid leaks.
Follow industry safety guidelines and perform duties without damaging vehicles.
Attend work on time and maintain accurate time records.
Perform basic shop maintenance and daily cleaning.
Use a computer and register for basic tasks.
Follow grooming standards and uniform guidelines.
Support a respectful and healthy workplace environment.
Perform general center maintenance and cleaning, including mopping, washing windows, mowing lawns, clearing litter, removing snow and ice, and cleaning restrooms and other customer and employee areas as applicable to the location.
Complete all required training for the position.
Attend team meetings as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
