About The Position

LV Petroleum is opening a brand-new truck service shop in Eagleville, MO, and is building its team now. The new shop is scheduled to open at the end of October, and they are looking for skilled Diesel Technicians who want the opportunity to be part of the operation from day one. Selected team members will have the opportunity to train at one of their established locations before the new shop opens, gaining hands-on experience with the team, processes, and expectations to be prepared for opening day. This role is for individuals with a strong technical background who take pride in quality workmanship and want an opportunity to grow their career while helping build something new.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or similar role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with a new operation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel technology is preferred.
  • Considerable experience in diesel repair and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel vehicles, trucks, and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other diesel-related issues.
  • Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
  • Identify mechanical issues and determine the appropriate repair or maintenance needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Use diagnostic equipment, tools, and technical resources to identify and resolve problems.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable industry standards.
  • Stay current with diesel technology, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
  • Work as part of a team to minimize equipment downtime and keep customers moving.
