About The Position

Keyes Hyundai of Van Nuys is hiring a Lube Technician to perform essential vehicle maintenance in a busy dealership environment. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop automotive technical skills and grow toward the next level of an automotive career. The schedule is a five-day work week with Sundays and one rotating weekday off. The California pay range is $18.42–$25.00 per hour; actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location, with final compensation established through the interview process. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent and at least 18 years old. No previous automotive maintenance or lube technician experience is required. Candidates should have basic knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures, be able to safely use automotive tools, lifts, and shop equipment, and have a valid driver's license in their state of residence and an acceptable driving record. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures.
Ability to safely use automotive tools, lifts, and shop equipment.
Valid driver's license in the applicant's state of residence.
Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services.
Check and top off fluids according to manufacturer guidelines.
Inspect tires, brakes, batteries, and other basic vehicle components.
Perform basic maintenance and light repair work based on experience.
Communicate identified vehicle concerns to Service Advisors and technicians.
