About The Position
McCarthy CDJR - Lee's Summit is seeking to hire a full-time quick Automotive Lube Technician. This role is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance work as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards. New technicians will receive $1,000 in tools through the Technician Tool Program. This is a great opportunity for those looking to add to their technician experience or enter the automotive industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Automotive technician experience required
- Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform basic functions such as: oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, replace wiper blades, etc as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with service team and assigned service advisor regarding the status and any changes to repair order
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Establish a finished product which adheres to factory and dealership procedures
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner
