About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to provide customer service and perform preventative maintenance services on vehicles. No previous automotive experience is required; employees receive hands-on training through the company’s training program. Services include changing oil, checking and refilling fluids, rotating tires, testing and replacing batteries, inspecting and replacing lights and wipers, and performing an 18-point maintenance check and other preventive maintenance services. The role is located at 2055 Fairport 9 Mile Rd, Penfield, NY 14526. Candidates should be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment and be able to meet the physical demands listed below. Weekend availability is likely, but late-night hours and holidays are not required.

Requirements

Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
Fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
