The Lube Technician performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This role involves diagnosing malfunctions, completing work according to safety requirements, and road-testing vehicles to ensure quality repairs. The technician is responsible for maintaining an inventory of personal tools, using shop supplies economically, and keeping a clean workspace. They must also complete required training, acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications, and stay updated on technical bulletins. Effective communication with dealership personnel and reporting any safety concerns are also key aspects of this position. Adherence to personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards, as well as punctuality, is expected.
