Lube Technician - FT
About The Position
The Lube Technician performs basic automotive maintenance services in a fast-paced, customer-focused shop. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Technicians support daily shop operations and help ensure vehicle safety. The position is full-time and based in Sahuarita, Arizona. It is a day-shift role with no travel. Compensation is $15.50–$21.50 base plus commission per month. Onboarding may include studying and training to build knowledge of products and procedures. Responsibilities may change based on business and operational needs.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and retain detailed knowledge of oils and services.
- Ability to safely maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working in varying hot and cold weather conditions.
- Strong awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the public.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil, replace oil filters, and grease chassis fittings.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
- Assist customers in selecting oil types and additional services.
- Provide excellent customer service verbally and in writing.
- Process payments for services performed.
- Perform coolant exchanges and fill services.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms.
- Perform other assigned duties.
