Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment. This role is responsible for oil/lube/tire changes, 13-point inspections, brake inspections and tire repair and replacements, and miscellaneous vehicle repairs. The technician will take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to commercial vehicles, and perform routine oil & lube services on commercial vehicles. Additionally, the role involves equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties. The technician will also be responsible for power washing the exterior body of trucks, under hood, framework, and rear working section, conducting safety checks on vehicles, and assisting with service calls for breakdowns. The position requires maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and upkeep of shop and tools, ensuring all tools are clean and in proper storage locations, trash is taken out on a regular basis, and floors are swept and kept free of any slip and/or trip hazards. Other duties as assigned by shop lead or higher supervision. The role offers an opportunity to learn from professional technicians and gain valuable skill sets.
