The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include adhering to express lube guidelines, performing lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints. The technician will report all necessary repairs to the service advisor, install completed LOF reminder stickers, and check and refill battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant levels as needed. The role also ensures the vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints, checks fluid levels prior to vehicle release, and maintains Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above Company standards. The technician is expected to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area, participate in required training, accurately record hours worked, follow Safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrate the Company’s Core Values, and comply with Company policies and procedures. The employee must also observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties may be assigned.
