About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring a part-time Lube and Tire Technician in Pensacola, Florida. The role performs preventive maintenance on a fleet of newer vehicles from multiple manufacturers to help keep them safe, reliable, and ready for customers. Work includes oil changes, fluid services, tire changes and rotations, and basic repairs, following safety procedures and quality standards. Depending on experience, the technician may assist senior technicians or take on additional maintenance tasks as skills develop. The position offers exposure to a wide range of vehicle systems and technologies.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit, and kneel frequently, as well as enter, exit, and drive vehicles.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Regular on-site presence is required; the role cannot be performed remotely.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance services on fleet vehicles.
• Perform oil changes and fluid services.
• Change and rotate tires.
• Perform basic vehicle repairs while following safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist senior technicians or take on additional maintenance tasks as skills develop.
• Help reduce vehicle downtime and improve reliability by keeping vehicles properly maintained.
