LTS Elementary Teacher
About The Position
Jericho Elementary School is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented educator to join our Grade 1 team as a Long-Term Substitute for the 2026–2027 school year through early November. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of best practices in early literacy instruction, understanding of trauma-informed classroom management strategies, ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, familiarity with standards-based math instruction, skill in using formative assessment to inform and plan instruction, and knowledge of PBIS and Responsive Classroom practices. MMUUSD is committed to supporting the success of all learners by eradicating bias in our systems and graduating students with critical literacy and equity literacy skills. Successful applicants will be invested in the success of every learner and expected to engage in continuing capacity building to support diverse learners.
