About The Position

The LTL Freight Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in LTL freight pricing, contract negotiation, and data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Deep understanding of LTL carrier networks, pricing structures, and accessorial charges.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with TMS and pricing software platforms.
• Familiarity with EDI and API integrations for carrier data.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LTL pricing models using historical data, market trends, and carrier performance.
• Lead contract negotiations with LTL carriers to secure competitive rates and service terms.
• Analyze pricing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and margin improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and carrier relations teams to support customer pricing requests and RFPs.
• Monitor carrier compliance and performance to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on LTL pricing strategies and tools.
• Manage carrier and client contracts in the Transportation Management System
