About The Position

The LTD Claims Lead (CCU) is responsible for the investigation and adjudication of complex Long-Term Disability (LTD) files within the group LTD department. This role also involves identifying appropriate LTD settlement candidates and coaching and developing LTD Examiners to build organizational talent and maintain a focus on continuous learning within the claims department.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of Long-Term Disability claims experience required.
• Proven ability to navigate claims systems and Windows software application required.
• High School Diploma required, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

• Recommend one or more industry continuing education certificates.

Responsibilities

• Successful utilization of FINEOS claims systems to accurately process LTD claims and drive quality excellence.
• Build trust and collaborative relationships with LTD Examiners in order to foster growth and improve competency.
• Drive execution of our LTD Settlements goals by identifying and facilitating fair LTD settlement options for our customers.
• Efficient and effective utilization of internal and external investigative tools to protect against potential fraud.
• Identify and drive positive change using innovative thinking and having the courage to speak up.
