About The Position

Perform maintenance, overhaul and repair operations on APU accessories using appropriate tooling as required. Requires working in various disciplines within the repair and overhaul shop.

Requirements

AA degree (or equivalent experience) in related discipline
Must possess the necessary hand tools to perform position responsibilities
Basic knowledge of Auxiliary Power Units.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office; Word, Excel, Power Point
Willing to be flexible with work schedule. and willing to work Overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

2-4 years mechanical experience involving similar equipment processes, measuring tools and assembly operations.
2-4 years prior Aerospace/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

With general supervision tear down, inspect, and rebuild APU accessories.
Clean parts and assemblies as required
Prepare documentation, including findings and test data
Assemble equipment as required by the OEM maintenance manuals and other work instructions
Light painting and touch up of assemblies as required
Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint and work instruction specifications.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals.
Read, interpret and execute work instructions
May prepare reports and suggest improvements and modifications from data collected
Troubleshoots, repairs and services APU accessories
Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Maintains FAA required records, manuals and inspection forms.
Follow all company policies including safety instructions
Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices
Other duties as assigned by manager
