LQA Game Tester (Turkish) - Freelance Remote
About The Position
Side (formerly PTW) is a global video game development and services provider. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will be the first to see the localized game, ensuring it is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and accurately localized into Turkish. You will work within a multilingual project team, experiencing the project as the end-users will. Our Localization QA team conducts language checks on upcoming games across various platforms including PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation VR2, and mobile devices. You will be working on top gaming titles for leading publishers.
Requirements
- Fluency in Turkish and conversational in English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the Turkish language.
- Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- Candidate must be located within Schengen Area.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a global project team.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
