About The Position
Organized and implements nursing interventions, aids in equipping individuals with domestic and self-help skills in order to foster greater independence and ensures the health and wellness of assigned clients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN Nursing Program
- Minimum one year of relevant LPN clinical experience is preferred
- Experience working with Developmental Disabilities is preferred
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Social Security Card
- Acceptable 3-year motor vehicle report
- F endorsement on Drivers License, 30days post job off
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services for assigned individuals and support to direct care staff
- Communicate individuals physician and nursing care plans to staff and assist in implementation of all MD/NP orders according to the State of TN Nurse Practice Act
- Assist the attending physician/NP/RN in the examination and treatment of the individuals by interviewing the individual and others as necessary to obtain medical information/history to help determine extent of injury/illness
- Monitor required documentation and complete all required documents within a timely manner
- Transcribe information onto individuals chart records
- Take vital signs and performs other tests such as glucose monitoring as required by physician
- Respond to individuals in acute distress
- Complete all required documents within a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Benefits
- $2500 (New Hires only, FT positions) 90 days - $750.00 180 days - $750.00 1 year - $1000.00
