About The Position
The LPN provides basic nursing care to patients in an urban healthcare setting, such as a clinic, community health center, hospital, or long-term care facility. The LPN works with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patient health and safety.
Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN license in the state of employment.
- CPR/BLS certification as required.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced urban healthcare environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care and monitor patients’ conditions.
- Take vital signs and document patient information.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed and within scope of practice.
- Assist patients with daily care needs.
- Communicate patient concerns to the RN or healthcare provider.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and workplace policies.
- Work respectfully with patients from diverse backgrounds and communities.
