About The Position
This is a full-time LPN position with day shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM. The role emphasizes a low nurse-patient ratio and offers flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of resident care plans, providing basic medical care, administering medications, monitoring residents, documenting patient information, and assisting with resident mobility and personal care.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the applicable state.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a geriatric care setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of resident care plans and provide basic medical care, such as dressing wounds and taking vital signs.
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
- Assist RNs in carrying out care plans and follow their directives.
- Monitor resident's conditions and report changes to the RN or physician.
- Record patient information and updates accurately in medical charts.
- Assist with resident mobility and personal care activities as needed.
