About The Position

This position involves using the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for individual patients. The LPN will collaborate with other healthcare team members, evaluate patient responses to interventions and their status towards goal achievement, and accept delegated nursing measures for which they are prepared, qualified, and licensed to perform.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Successful completion of orientation

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies

Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients
  • Charting patients
  • Discharging patients for multiple providers across various specialties
