Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time LPN for our Swansea Internal Medicine Office located at 4 Park Place in Swansea, IL!
Requirements
- Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing.
- Current State licensure (IL).
- CPR Certification.
- One of more years of experience in ambulatory care.
- PC/Windows proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.

- The LPN is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
- Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems
- Utilize your knowledge and basic nursing principles, practices and ethics
- Assist the provider in the interviewing, examination and treatment of patients
- Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height
- Perform phlebotomy and give injections
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
- Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team
